Salam Recently two Pakistani women refused to go thru body scanner while going from Manchester via PIA and they were sent back to their home. Body scanners are of two types: 1) Millimeter wave body scanner 2) Back scatter body scanner. At the moment they are only in few airports but soon they will be in almost all airports. If you see the picture in these scanners (you can go to googles and see images by writing above scanner names) they are absolutely NOT like "a naked body show" (as most people thought) , but no doubt it is little disturbing image of your body. At least any man OR woman does not want it to be seen by others in general. (Agony for man and woman both) So what is the solution??? At the moment they are selecting people randomly. (which is also disturbing , because if everybody would go thru this machine then may be nobody would feel too much embarrassed). And unofficially the people who look little religious (man having beard or woman with abaya etc), they have more chance to be victims. But soon it would be unavoidable for all of us.It is going to be there soon in future for all airports. In my opinion all people , muslims in particular, should raise their voice to make it "CONTROLLED"..................totally controlled. for example... Officials should make sure that woman should be seen on the monitor by woman only and man should be seen by man only ........ it happens in other cases as when occasionally "body search" is necessary in routine checking, the lady is going to separate room and body searched by a woman lady police.... Secondly there should be no racism or bias for any particular country or religion etc etc If somebody have any other solution or comment????
