You can right away see that it is the writer who has made a wrong selection of words and not Ghamidi.I have known Ghamidi for more than 25 yrs.In the matters of Deen he 'never' ventures outside the corpus of Quran&Sunnah.

I take your point but this is a humanly mistake made by the writer who immediately in the next sentence says that "He(Ghamidi) meticulously recovers detail from within the confines of religious text".
