and really i will not defend doctors just because i am a dr. 
my s.i.l. in pak told me that once she went to a pvt hosp and as they reached, my brother happened to leave for the maghrib prayer immediately in the nextdoor masjid. she says that the gynaecologist started shouting upside down that 'look at this;the wife is in labour-- aur inhein namaz kee soojh rahi haey. paysay jama' karai baghair masjid chalay gaey' [xx(] --although she is their family gynaecologist and this was the 4th or 5th child being borne.
