[blue]Assalamualaykum. Brother Shah, you had asked in one of your earlier posts (I quote)[/blue]
..................what about the Muslims who accept Allah His messenger and promise to obey Him, when they disobey Him, they commit a very evil thing because even after knowing everything and accepting it they go against Allah's will.............
[blue]And now you say among other things (I quote):[/blue]
.................. aadith are based on quran and sunnah, aadith donot talk about things out of the quran................
[blue]The following verse in Surah An-Nisa lays down in an unequivocal manner the obligation of every Muslim to [hl]submit to the ordinances[/hl], which the Prophet, under divine inspiration, promulgated with a view to exemplifying the message of the Qur’an and enabling the believers to apply it to actual situations. [hl]These ordinances constitute what is described as the sunnah[/hl] (lit., "way") of the Prophet Muhammad, [hl]and have[/hl] (whenever they are authenticated beyond any possibility of doubt) [hl]full legal force side by side with the Qur’an[/hl]: see verse 80 of the same Surah.[/blue] An-Nisa (The Women) 4:65 فَلاَ وَرَبِّكَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ حَتَّىَ يُحَكِّمُوكَ فِيمَا شَجَرَ بَيْنَهُمْ ثُمَّ لاَ يَجِدُواْ فِي أَنفُسِهِمْ حَرَجًا مِّمَّا قَضَيْتَ وَيُسَلِّمُواْ تَسْلِيمًا But nay, by thy Sustainer! They do not [really] believe unless they make thee [O prophet] a judge of all on which they disagree among themselves, and then find in their hearts [hl]no bar to an acceptance of thy decision[/hl] and give themselves up [to it] in utter self-surrender. An-Nisa (The Women) 4:80 مَّنْ يُطِعِ الرَّسُولَ فَقَدْ أَطَاعَ اللّهَ وَمَن تَوَلَّى فَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَفِيظًا [hl]Whoever pays heed unto the Apostle pays heed unto God[/hl] thereby; and as for those who turn away - We have not sent thee to be their keeper.
I feel really disappointed to see the lack of your comprehension for the matter that I raised. All this time, like I said before, you have presented irrelevant arguments, the one above is again seems pointless to me. [hl]"Whoever pays heed unto the Apostle pays heed unto God"[/hl] Why does he pay heed unto GOD, because Allah's messenger teaches people what he has been taught by Allah, he never makes up things by himself (Nauzubillah). Therefore what Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said must have any relevance or some bases with quran, or what he practiced. As to what I had said earlier, [hl]"aadith are based on quran and sunnah, aadith donot talk about things out of the quran"[/hl], you just agreed with it by saying [hl]"which the Prophet, under divine inspiration, promulgated with a view to exemplifying the message of the Qur’an and enabling the believers to apply it to actual situations. [hl]These ordinances constitute what is described as the sunnah[/hl] (lit., "way") of the Prophet Muhammad,"[/hl] What was your point there? I'm sorry brother but I dnt feel the need to carry out this discussion any further because my original question is still there, and all this time you have been qouting verses out of context and not explicitly presenting your view. May be I should have this discussion, or rather ask this question to a scholar. Anywayz thankyou for your effort.[:)] Edited by: shah_625 on Thursday, October 09, 2008 1:16 PM
