I am allowed to have cold drinks but couldnt take it as i am prone to cold n cough.So I avoid chilled and prefer normal water.For me, it is a matter of choice from the given options.

Many a things a allowed in Islam but we are selective in choosing out of them as per our convenience. isn't it?

Cousine marriages are allowed but not encouraged(means not lying in &quot;must to do&quot; category
).
This 'leave' may be useful for some individuals and only social scientists can tell us better about those special cases.
