I hope it would be very useful discussion... but I wonder if sometimes religious personalities talk or give solution about the problems of before marriage affair. Young girls and boys cannot get married till their twenties and especially males till their thirties because of education and jobs. what is the solution for urge of having relationship with opposite sex. I am not talking of urge of intimate relatioship. AlHamdoliAllAH !!! most of the young generation are aware of their limits before marriage. I am talking about the urge of having relationship with opposite sex in terms of romance and friendship. In your late teens and early twenties , you cannot ignore such urges and especially since last 30 yrs of influx of movies, medias and internet, it is very hard to avoid such desires. But islam allow such relationship only after marriage (not even after engagement), and it is, I believe, necessary for good society but having chatting, or having light moment with someone, who is only your special friend, is also nowadays, in this young age time, very difficult to avoid. Result is that: many good religious young couples are having affair before marriage in our society nowadays. Somebody should address this issue also. I remeber fortunately my parents made my NIKAAH with my wife in early twenties, we got rukhsati after long time.....,but because we were techanically husband and wife , we enjoyed talking in telephone hours and hours and sometimes meeting in public places and then we continued our education and got Rukhsati later.... Those were the great moments of our life, thanks to our parents that instead of engagement, they did Nikkah between us.
