She is right that this is not the right attitude that you get disconnected with the person of different opinion and different religious attitude. First thing is to talk with him and try to convey right point of view to him, if he convinced and accepts the right way then well and good other wise wait to put and present your point of view at another suitable time and carry on this attitude and not stop it in any extent and never discontinue relations and meetings with him.

In the matter of difference of opinion regarding a specific Hadith, yes this is right attitude to present your reasons to why you assume this Hadith as “Saheeh” and let the other to present his case with his arguments. If a consensus will developed then well and good, otherwise you continue your opinion and let the other party to take his opinion continue and not make this difference base of any fighting and separation.

Being a Hanfi or Takleedi is also a matter of difference of opionion, if you don’t like and assume it an error to do so, then fulfill you wish but let the other person fulfill his wishes and understandings. This is also not a valid base of any dispute and separation.

In short I have to say that her whole reply and all suggestions are very much Perfect and full of Wisdom and Knowledge. I really appreciate this Beautiful and Wise Post.
