Women exploitation as sex symbol in west is long time recognised and not appreciated by East. In eastern culture it is always considered as wrong and condemnable by almost all intellectuals, religious scholars, leaders and even majority of common people. So what author present in this article about women sexual exploitation is appreciate able but not new. My point is that how long we just use this single reason to condemn west on women and how long we use this single issue to prove that Islam is superior to western culture??
West has given a lot of other good thing to women which present traditional Islam interpretations still could not give. We have to face this reality. In article it seems to me that most of the  women are using themselves or they are forced to or they are tempted to use their sexual advantage in order to succeed.
This is very wrong concept about west.
Women are free there in many other aspects not only in nudity. 
This is a media impact (TV, Internet, films etc) which is giving very wrong impression about west to us that west is [b]totally[/b] a sex mess and [b]only[/b] exploiter of women as sex symbol.
As I earlier said, yes! They have gone very far in this regard which should be condemned and stopped but other things also should be taken when we compare something. 
Many many many women there are decent and modest doctors, surgeon, intellectuals, engineers, politician, sportswomen, councilors , teachers and more [b]importantly housewives [/b] who are taking care of their family [b]sometimes[/b] far better than a Muslim or eastern housewife.
They have laws to protect themselves from domestic violence and even from verbal sexual assault. And these laws are in [b]real[/b] force. You cannot give a single example where a woman has  complained to police about even a  [b]verbal[/b] domestic violence or even verbal sexual harassment and police would not have taken action against that guy. That guy is at once prohibited to come near even 500 meters of that lady. Has any Muslim country  such laws??? Or if they have, is it implemented like that??
This I gave you a single example. If somebody disagrees I can give more and compare the women condition in west and in many Muslim countries in other aspects as well.

Islam is good for women but not in traditional Islam interpretation in many ways especially in present era. What majority of Muslims scholars are teaching in present Muslim world about women is having many confusions among women.

I again repeat that &quot;sexual exploitation factor in west&quot; is wrong and should be condemnable and stopped but when you compare women issue in west and present traditional Islam in third world Muslim countries , then you should consider all aspects of women life.

Lastly, when come to the solution, author gave an ideal solution but it is not very easy. It is easy to say that we should make separate Muslim schools or separate girls and boys schools etc  etc. But in reality to make such schools needs money and planning and politics?? and state has to think many obstacles before provide fund for it. On the other hand majority of rich and upper middle class Muslims are stuck to their wealth like snakes but very vocal in propagating that Islam has given this to women or Islam has given that to women??? but themselves are useless.

That is why author requested to state, O.K!  it is a valid suggestion but till state would not agree then what we have to do???
In my opinion, we should continue our children to study in same available schools, make sure to guide them from time to time about right and wrong and pray to God.In the meantime continue to pursue our case for separate state funded schools to related Govt.
