Salaam, If its so important issue, why not Qur'an told us that ? however Qura'n tells us that he is dead. Neverthless, Let me know if Ahadith gives belief that are not based in Quran ? Should we believe them as it is ? or there must be any other explanations curios Regards,
[blue]Asalam Aalaikum I think the reason why Qur'an doesnot explicitly and strongly refers to the second advent of Jesus(pbuh) is due to that it is not an important part of Islamic Beliefs. According to the interpretation of Some Muslim Scholars the two verses of the Qur'an (4:159) and (43:61) refer to the 2nd advent of Jesus(pbuh) prior to the Day of Judgement but other Scholars interpret these verses alternatively. Their is no explicit verse in the Qur'an which refers to the return of Jesus(pbuh) ,however their are hadiths which mention the return of Jesus(pbuh) but some of those hadiths are unauthentic. If their is anything which is unclear in the Qur'an then i dont think it will become part of our belief just because it is mentioned in the Hadith. Regards, [/blue]
