Actually I wrote in reply into a forum where people come from different faiths. My intention was to remind ourselves of god and his signs around.

again as I said for most [blue]Whys[/blue] we need religion. God says this life is to test you. You and I know that the test would be useless if we saw Him. Agree?

Anyways, considering the [blue]Why[/blue] theory again, this Why needs religion as well because we ought to believe that no matter what scientific explanations come, although we know that per chance miscarrige rate is as high as 1 in 5(i.e. unknown cause); god just does not allow certain things to reach to perfection because this life is a test and is not meant to be perfect. 
I personally take it as follows: God makes  majority of embryos perfecr, leaviing some defective, to reminfd the humanity of Him and that if He wished He could make us in whatever way He wished. It is His tremendous Mercy that He protecs us from malformations.
