[quote][blue]we ought to pull up our socks in the last days of ramadan now. many things to wind up including those pending iftari invitations which we still cud not do and eid comes along as well with lots to do. little children to be involved in the farewell fasts; working round their school schedules for sehr and ifter. cook/get their favourites which they are most likely to eat etc. in order to get the most of these days and nights we could follow some useful tips. cutting down some unnecessary tasks like those visits, shopping, phone calls and emails which could wait untill after ramadan; to try and get some sleep/rest in the day even if for 1/2 an hr specially after duhr prayers(unless you woke up at 12 [8)]) this helps staying awake for prayers in the nights. keeping some material ready to keep us awake in the night (not teleshopping [}:)] ) becoz sometimes its difficult to continue to remain awake just with salah and Qura'n reading and meanings reading continously . we may add some other reading material like a book about islamic history or a pic book of mosques of the world or a book relating stories of islamic heroes etc. we may watch/listen a channel broad/telecasting such info or use other audio visual material on various islamic topics; also websites like studying islam [^] to complete some of our courses; could complete some of the pending drafts, cheques etc we yet could not complete, for charity organizations etc. teach another sister or a child willing to learn to read arabic/ meanings of Qura'n. hence lots of activities we could involve with which insh'Allah angels shall count as worship.[/blue] [purple]once lady Ayesha (may Allah be pleased with her) asked Muhammad (sws/pbuh) that what should she do if she found the lailatul qadr and he adviced her to ask forgiveness of Lord by reciting Allahumma innaka afuwwan, tuhibbul afwa, fafu anni oh Allah you are forgiving, you love forgiving, hence plz forgive me.[/purple][/quote]
