Salams brother ibrahim, i am not doing the course you have suggested and i really will not have time to go through it just to find out what you are talking about. can you yourself please clarify how this non compulsary hijab opinion has been given, according to which madhab, which scholars, if you have done the course, then please pass on the knowledge to one who is not, i am already doing three courses, plus my full time studies here, plus looking after home and kids and husband, so i really will not have time to sift through another course. but i want to learn how this opinion is there which is so fundamentally different from the opinions of the madhabs and scholars that i have learnt about so far. i understand that this concept of cover up in big black abayyas and hide in your home is something that has been greatly over emphasised. but i also know that this new reformist no hijab at all free mixing is something that the fuqaha have not allowed, in shafi madhab it is waajib for the woman to cover her face, also in hanbali, so if this is the case who has said hijab is not compulsary at all. niqab is something that can be taken or left according to madhab and fatwa's given by scholars, especially for those living in western lands, but to cover the hair and neck, this is waajib according to all i have done. please educate me further in this. my aim of studying all this is to be able to teach and give dawah in my homeland which is the uk, so all these diverse opinions need to be consolidated. it is not about arguing the point of who is right or wrong, it is about understanding how a particular scholar came to the conclusion he did regarding a certain issue. this is were alot of fitnah is spreading throughout the ummah today, everyone wants to be right, we have forgotten that khilaf is a norm in islam, even within one madhab there will be khilaf on certain issues, and it is up to us as students of knowledge to learn the khilaf and accept all opinions as valid, unless they have no basis within the accepted sources. so i ask you ibrahim, to clarify the points given in this course, so that i can better understand the opinion, i did not know there was any khilaf on womans hijab except to the extent that she should cover, but her covering was something that is agreed upon by all. this is what i have studied, here and in the uk. please teach me what you know. ma salam
