Dear Moderator, It is true that on Mazars(Tombs)some muslims do prostrate on the grave or do several things and some hindus think that muslims who claim to be the followers of monotheism are also involved in such polytheism act. Let me please clarify the difference between hindu worship and muslims worship. 1) The prostration of hindus infront of the idols is a fundamental part of there faith. Some Muslims who prostrate infront of the grave are illiterate and this kind of worship is not mentioned any where in Qur'an and Hadith. 2)Those illiterate muslims who prostrate on the graves donot consider the grave as God but consider it as a waseela(Intermediary) who could forward there prayers request to God because the Saints are pious and virtues people and they are closer to God and thats why they are used as intermediary by these muslims. Hindus on the other hand donot consider there idols as intermediary, they consider them as gods. 3)Please note I am not in favour of the muslim actions in (tombs)mazars. Unfortunately these muslims have very poor and wrong knowledge of Islam and fortunately these muslims have a very low population in the Muslim world. These muslims are only limited to sub continent(India and Pakistan). Out of 100%,90% of the hindus worship idols. So majority is always the authority and it counts.
