[red] Salamz ^_^
It is none of your business to tell me how to raise my children.
im not trying to tell you how to raise your children, i didnt even know your kids were home educated.
Your posts seem to come across as being very hostile towards parents choosing to home educate their children and I totally disagree with your opinions.
i was simply stating my ignorant opinion, i admit i lack extensive knowledge on the topic and i had no idea that i was coming across in a hostile manner *sorry!*
I doubt if you have experienced home educating your children or seen others do it!
im fifteen - i dont have any children -and, yes, ive seen home education take place *the kids were really happy ^_^*
In reality schools are a prison for young children who spend 37 odd hours away from their families every week.
erm i respect that you feel this way but as a child who goes to school i disagree. if i spent my entire life with my family i think id go crazy... no offence ^_^ thats just my opinion - the summer holidays tend to drive me insane. school's not just a place you go to to study. its also a place where you meet different personalities *not during lessons, during your lunch breaks*. i know that being educated inside a school building is going to be an experience, something that builds up my memories so i can look back on them when im old. i feel that, if i was home educated, id be bound to the same place forever - regardless of how many field trips i went on. this is my opinion, and yours is your opinion, im not trying to teach you how to teach your children, im only offering the information IV gathered. as a moderator, im allowed to have opinions - if you feel they are biased, please do let me know, but please also remember that i never intend them to come across that way. im sorry if i insulted you in my above post but thats the way it goes ^_^ and i have apologised for it so theres not much more i can do. .xXx. Wassalam .xXx. oh, and i forgot to mention, i am in no way against home education. if thats the way you want to bring up your children then thats awesome, you're making decisions as a parent that you feel are better for your child. i am PRO home school-ed but im also pro school-building school ed, the subject never really intrigued me much its nothing ive been forced to think about. my opinions were formed when we debated it in english 2 - 3 years ago [:p] [/red] Edited by: xxbasxx on Friday, December 02, 2005 6:37 PM
