Salam! This is a question that I have had for some time and reading this module reminded me of it. I have always wondered about people who were born into a group of athesiests or polytheists. If these people are never exposed to the Quran or any other of Allah's texts, how are they to be judged? I find it unfair that they would be sent to Hell if Allah never presented them with an opportunity to acknowledge His word. This statement from Module 1 brought this question to mind again "if man is reminded of it [the pledge to acknowledge Allah] in the absence of any hindrance in his surroundings, he leaps to it". If Allah first gives life to a soul in an environment where His name is never mentioned, and perhaps provides this person with a weak disposition to never question the teachings of those around him, how is this person to achieve Jannah? Please, any help to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.
