Salaam Thanks for your post. In my opinion, the answer lies in your question.....the real threat to Muslims is not any other religion or a new idea or belief, the real threat lies in their own ignorance of their religion. The Quran prompts mankind time and again to ponder and to reflect and investigate so that they don't fall in the trap of blindly following the beliefs of their forefathers. Muslims, likewise, should ask themselves the very question. Why do they call themselves Muslims? Is it because that is what their parents taught them or is it through reason and reflection and gaining knowledge? A well informed, well educated Muslim is not likely to change his beliefs since he believes because he studied/researched/investigated and was convinced. He would also not see any other set of beliefs (that differ with his) as a threat. Regards.
I do agree with you ,the threat lies in our own ignorance of the true teachings of Islam, and according to my understanding and opinion, it is infact the duty of all the Ulimas and Islamic Scholars to teach their students regarding Qadiyanizm and their activities and to teach their students about how to defend themselves from this deviant group.
