The seven sahabees with most narrations of ahadees
They are [in order of number of narrations]:
• Abu Hurayrah, the most of them in Hadeeth, he narrated 5374 Ahaadeeth.
• ‘Abdullaah ibn ‘Umar, he narrated 2630 Ahaadeeth.
• Anas ibn Maalik, he narrated 2286 Ahaadeeth.
• ‘Aa-isha, the mother of the believers, she narrated 2210 Ahaadeeth.
• ‘Abdullaah ibn ‘Abbaas, he narrated 1660 Ahaadeeth.
• Jaabir ibn ‘Abdullaah, he narrated 1540 Ahaadeeth.
• Abu Sa’eed al Khudree [who is Sa’d ibn Maalik], who narrated 1170 Ahaadeeth. |
