Pearl~Make sacrifice for those...
"Make sacrifice for those who persecute you and love your enemy." Jesus Christ (pbuh)
I was listening to this interfaith programme on a religious channel in the car the other day and in the explanation it was said that although it is humanly impossible to love your enemy but what it means is that even though you cannot love your enemy at heart, still do not turn them away when they need your help because the Father in the Heavens also gives everything to His enemies that they need.

But the Islamic term "making sacrifice" refers to an-nahr / animal sacrifice and has no relevance in the present context. |
