Pearl ~ Great people's sufferings!
i came across this a couple of weeks back in the hospital church during an exhibition about the concept of human suffering and sacrifice as a test in life.
(The following also reflects the journey of Prophet Muhammad pbAh in Ta'if)
"In what ways was it important for Jesus (Essa) pbAh to undergo such a journey of suffering ? He was driven like a lamb to be tortured and killed, but he kept his head down because he knew that God was walking by his side, rather holding him in His arms. Why do good people suffer? He was opposed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth."
