A TRAIL OF FAILURES!!!
Assalam-u-Alikum, The last two centuries witnessed the rise and fall of many islamic movements.Tehrike Mujahideen of Syed Ahmad Shaheed,Khilafat Movement, Reshmi Roomal tehrik ,Ikhwanulmuslimin,Jamat-e-Islami,Pan-islamism of Jamal-u-DinAfghani.All these movements could not effect any significant change.Some of them petered out gradually,swept away by the tides of time.These movements attracted large cadres of devoted followers.Millions of people lost their lives. Why did these movements fail to deliver? |

Perhaps, they set about in a wrong arena with an erroneous objective; revolution on a collective basis in the life of the Muslims.
The Holy Qur’an is concerned about revolution in a individual’s life. These movements wanted to bring about revolution in the collective system of Muslims—a phenomenon which ultimately takes place once the majority of Muslims is convinced about the importance of religion. |
