For mature students only who already have knowledge of the Qur'an, The Sunnah and the Hadith. For those who don't, you can get confused/misguided from the web sites mentioned in this particular post. www.studyquran.co.uk some resources for studying the Qur'an. Arabic learning resources. Many English translations (atleast 25) Translations in many other languages./ Project Root List (25 % complete and uploaded for free access) Lane's Lexicon project Check out the projects by visiting the projects page: www.studyquran.co.uk/Projects_page.htm I liked the Lane's lexicon project idea as such a work should be available freely for all to access . The web site also refers to the following Ayaat on its pages [Al Quran, 17:36] [Al Quran, 39:18] Caution: Beware of the forum/discussion links on this site i.e. neither visit them nor read them. I am only interested and I mean ONLY in PLL project and PRL project and strongly recommend not viewing the forums or any link that takes you to such sites. I like the idea of PLL and PRL. That's all.
Also note that Lexicons are only one of the many sources for trying to study the Qur'an. The Sunnah, The Authentic Hadith, the situation of revelation, how the early predecessors understood it, how our predecessors thought it should be studied etc.. are all very important and for this, the web site may give nothing.
Classical Arabic Grammar is also important. Moreover the persons that can utilize these kinds of web sites are those who already have knowledge of Classic Arabic, interpretation of the Qur'an, Sunnah, Authentic hadith etc... as a less learned Muslim might get confused and may come to wrong conclusions. The mature audience may use it.
Another web site www.openburhan.com has facilities to study locations, occurences, variations of Roots . It helps one identify the occurences of a Root. But this work is not complete and can contain errors. But the same caution applies to this web site as applies to: www.studyQuran.co.uk , www.Quranicteachings.co.uk etc...

www.harunyahya.com/articles/honored_sunnah.php
The Importance of the Honored Sunnah to the Faithful
A concise article is available which I would recommend all of you to read. The Sunnah is so important .
here are some quotes fro the article
quote: ...."You have an excellent model in the messenger of Allah, for all who put their hope in Allah and the Last Day and remember Allah much" (Surat al-Ahzab, 21). .....Whoever obeys the messenger has obeyed Allah. If anyone turns away, We did not send you to them as their keeper. (Surat an-Nisa', 80)
....No, by your Lord, they are not believers until they make you their judge in the disputes that break out between them, and then find no resistance within themselves to what you decide and submit themselves completely. (Surat an-Nisa', 65)
.....When Allah and His messenger have decided something it is not for any man or woman of the believers to have a choice about it. Anyone who disobeys Allah and His messenger is clearly misguided. (Surat al-Ahzab, 36)
… Whatever the messenger gives you you should accept and whatever he forbids you you should forgo. Have fear [and respect] of Allah - Allah is severe in retribution. (Surat al-Hashr, 7)
The reply of the believers when they are summoned to Allah and His messenger so that he can judge between them, is to say, "We hear and we obey." They are ones who are successful. (Surat an-Nur, 51)
....You who believe! Respond to Allah and to the messenger when He calls you to what will bring you to life! Know that Allah intervenes between a man and his heart and that you will be gathered to Him. (Surat al-Anfal, 24)
....… those of you who live after me will see great disagreement. You must then follow my sunnah and that of the rightly-guided caliphs. Hold to it and stick fast to it. Avoid novelties, for every novelty is an innovation, and every innovation is an error. (Abu Dawud, Narrated Irbad ibn Sariyah)
The best word is the Word of Allah and the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad. (Sunan Ibn Maajah, Muqaddima, 7)
