Emergency Appeal
We seem to be spending so much on the latest designers and all that we don't seem to notice that our money is desprately needed else where POR EXAMPLE!! **For example...**
A devastating earthquake measuring 8.9 on the Richter scale has hit South East Asia . The earthquake is over a hundred times more powerful than the one that hit Iran last year.
A state of emergency has been declared by the Government of Sri Lanka alone where:
Over 4,000 people are said to have been killed
250,000 people have been displaced
n Many hospitals destroyed or damaged
n No drinking water is available in most areas
By donating to Islamic Relief now, we will make sure that desperately needed food, shelter and medicine are delivered as quickly as possible!
As most people affected by the disaster are relying on external food supplies, Islamic Relief will direct Qurbanis to help those in need. Qurbani for the region are £65.

If you live near the BERKSHIRE area plz come to the charity fair that has been set up for this cause on Saturday 1st Jan in emergency.
Lots of things for your interest including food stalls, mehandi and many others; where you can SPEND for this emergency Appeal!

the charity fair in chalvey raised £5000 in a matter of 3-4 hrs
trivial but joint efforts can do gr8 things

any1 can do it...anywher and anytym
this event was like..so small..we only had 1 small hall and a little room 2 set up about 5 stalls...but its the most we've raised in slough for a long time alhamdullillah
i hope this encourages every1 to help out in their local community
