Donations for Tsunami Hit Victims
In the recent Tsunami disaster, over 150,000 people are now confirmed dead, and many others will die if they are not helped.
Please help the suffering people, even if you can spare $5.
Online donations can be made at http://www.tsunami-earthquake.com |

May Allah accept all efforts in this regard. amen.
In an emergency situation like this the rule of 'Afw' from surah Baqarah applies, i.e. 'spend whatever is beyond your needs'; (although a state cannot force people for this) and the rule of 'atleast $5' may apply for spending in God's way in normal situations.
We are pleased to convey that alhamdulillah with joint efforts of local people of Berkshire including members of ISB(islamic society of Britain, UKIM(UK Islamic Mission and Studying Islam- more so our Young Minds :) , £7000 were raised in an emergency set up charity fair on Sat. 1st Jan'05 and many are now busy in preperations for our next charity fair to raise funds for our educational and helping community projects on this website and monthly renaissance; which was planned and organized already for 8th Jan'05. Prayers needed.
We are thankful to all who participated with such fervour and may Allah reward them the best in this world and the Hereafter. Our prayers remain with the deceased and the sufferers. |

The active response of the world to the tsunami victims is commendable. I just wish that they would some day turn their eyes to those whose pain is graver yet hidden, where more lives have been lost (and will continue to be), slowly, and 'peacfully' taking care not to arouse the world conscience. |
