WAY'S OF DAWWA.

MAW'IZAH HASANAH = IN WHICH HEART RENDERING & SINCEAR ADVICE IS GIVEN.
JAD-AHSAN = FAULT'S OF OPPONENT ARE MADE CLEAR BY SOUND ARGUMENT'S.
MUJA'DALAH = A DECICIVE ARGUMENT THAT SCILENCE'S THE OPPONENT WHO FIND'S NO ANSWER BUT TO ACCEPT IT.

How about:
A person can be motivated and convinced of Islam by:
-Muslims acting righteously. -Muslims being kind. -Muslims adhering to honesty. -Muslims being thoughtful. -Muslims respecting others (in many ways). -Muslims being charitable. -Muslims learning their faith correctly. -Muslims opening their minds. -Muslims closing their mouths and opening their ears. -Muslims speaking appropriately.
Maybe if Muslims behaved according to Islam and remained unwavering in their belief in God then maybe people will be convinced of the Truth of Islam. The best way to lead is by example. Let's lead, but let's first start with ourselves.

assalamo alaykum/peace
when our beloved Prophet sws used to take Baya'/contract to enter Islam, he would also ask them to agree to remain witness/qa'yaem bil qist to the Truth they have accepted i think that gives enough reason for us to believe that we should b presentors/practically and verbally and invitors to this Truth
a believer has no choice in this regard (open to comments) (taken from javed ghamidi sb's tafseer to surah baqareh vs 8 to 16) |

Assalamu Alaikum I agree with ronnie that we should try to attain the charactaistics of a good muslim but at the same time that is a life long journey. We should always look for opportunities for daw'ah and not wait until we think we are 'good enough' muslims to do so... because this may never happen.
One amazing aspect of doing daw'ah is we strengthen our iman at the same time as we teach others. We should always be willing to pass on what ever little information we have on our beautiful religion even if it is just a small surah from the qur'an. Any may we recieve the blessings and courage from Allah to do so... |
