Ya_ ay yuhan na_su in kuntum fi raibihim minal ba'tsi fa in na_ khalaqna_kum min tura_bin sum ma min nutfatin sum ma min alaqatin sum ma min mudghatim mukhal laqatiw wa gairi mukhal laqatil linubay yina lakum wa nuqir ru fil arha_mi ma_ nasya_ u ila_ ajalim musam man
YUSUFALI: O mankind! if ye have a doubt about the Resurrection, (consider) that We created you out of dust, then out of sperm, then out of a leech-like clot, then out of a morsel of flesh, partly formed and partly unformed, in order that We may manifest (our power) to you; and We cause whom We will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term,.
PICKTHAL: O mankind! if ye are in doubt concerning the Resurrection, then lo! We have created you from dust, then from a drop of seed, then from a clot, then from a little lump of flesh shapely and shapeless, that We may make (it) clear for you. And We cause what We will to remain in the wombs for an appointed time,
SHAKIR: O people! if you are in doubt about the raising, then surely We created you from dust, then from a small seed, then from a clot, then from a lump of flesh, complete in make and incomplete, that We may make clear to you; and We cause what We please to stay in the wombs till an appointed time
Rashad Khalifa: O people, if you have any doubt about resurrection, (remember that) we created you from dust, and subsequently from a tiny drop, which turns into a hanging (embryo), then it becomes a fetus that is given life or deemed lifeless. We thus clarify things for you. We settle in the wombs whatever we will for a predetermined period.
At the مضغةٍ stage it is of two types; مخلقةٍ and غير مخلقةٍ
مخلقةٍ Passive participle noun {اسم مفعول}, singular, feminine, One who gets created.
غير مخلقةٍ Other than one who gets created.
And then it is clarified that We cause to stay him in the womb whom We want.
What happens to the غير مخلقةٍ the one who does not get created? The one who get created is stayed in the womb which means that the other one stays somewhere else and for that reason does not get created. This is called tubal ectopic pregnancy/Extra uterine Pregnancy. This diagram would clarify things quite vividly.

مضغةٍ is the third stage in the creation of posterity of Adam. And it is the stage when stage of علق has passed, i.e. clinging/implant of the fertilized egg either to the wall of fallopian tube or having reached the womb clung there. About this it has been said that it is مخلقةٍ and غير مخلقةٍ.
مضغةٍ can be found either in the womb or outside the womb. Allah said the one outside the womb is the one who is other than the one which gets created and it is the one which is found in womb. Miscarriage relates only to womb. The one outside the womb will never be created, it is to scatter. |

Kindly read about the test tube baby. Baby gets created in the womb of the mother and perhaps not in a glass tube. |
