our very nice and helping secretary who is a xtian by faith, has given me a book on this new year i thought u all may wish to hv a look "why i am a muslim' by asma gul hasan. www.asmahasan.com
hv only seen introduction so far. according to which 'based on her understanding of the Qur'an & her upbringing as a muslim, she articulates a vision of islam that is ethnically diverse, tolerant of others, & supportive of the rights of woman."
