btw could you come out with a reason for that
and that why we can see this more in our dear homeland where we expect muslim men to be in a majority and who we think, would understand the norms of gender interaction better
you may come across staring men here as well, but very rarely and would stare if a woman is really really exposed so they can give you a reason if you ask
but our dear brothers there would not fail to do so even if a woman is wearing seven hijabs...
what do you think is wrong?
is it :
*eye disease 
*brain disease(psychological i mean) 
*or heart disease  |

We do not understand the norms of gender interaction better here; we are more of the whimsical nation. Unfortunately our bringing up tells us not ask and speak in front of the parents; so we never learn to speak well and being articulate in general. When the time comes to interact with the opposite gender; the situation is worse.
I believe it is the desire of the men to stare at the women. In our society if a male does something wrong he is excused for being a male; but woman is branded as shameless. People forget the male mistake in no time but the woman always remains the shameless one. This encourages the male to do it more. Let me add here that the fear of God is no more within us.
Honestly telling we never consider women as another human being. She is a sexual object to be played with. We really see the woman as a very weak human; so in return we have no fear from her.
Staring problem here is more to do with the brain disease (psychological) as you said. It is entirely depend on the class you are talking about.
The elite educated class does not do it much because they already have girlfriends.
The middle class is totally confused because on the one side they desire them a lot on the other they think it is wrong to stare. As I said there is no fear of God so in the end we stare them.
The lower class has a mentality of being possessive about the woman. They stare the most because they think they have a right to do so; because the women place in house and not on the street. The women in their lives who are Mother, Sister, Daughter & Wife are unfortunately not women but Worshipful, Honor, Property & Possession respectively.
In last, the youth has a different story. Our youth is no more different than the western one; i.e. totally confused. Actually they are crush between our cultural values and the bombardment of western culture on the media. This is all because their parents are not good religious role models so they reject them because they do not believe in the cultural values anymore.
This is how I see it. |

But it is always a challenge for men to keep away from this psychological and evil attitude towards women.For this we should close to Almighty Allah and keep duwa to increase purification in our souls.
In the end i would also point out modern women who wear dress which attracts men.they should also avoid as this is also a matter of their purification.
May God guide us in right path

BUT I DONT SEE WHAT MEN ARE LOOKING at !!! whenever im in pakistan, in fact whenever im anywhere in the world, i am fully dressed in a hijaab and burka but i STILL get ...boys.... LOOKING at me!! its not right! its gross i hate it i hate it i hate it even in sri lanka it happened *shudders*
whats more is that i officially hate all members of the opposite sex. thank you, nauman, for telling me exactly how i am percieved through the eye of a male. men suck! ...grrr...
alsoooo, i agree with brother khaled that women in our society are dressing to expose, its not nice and i continue to hope that it will stop. women who dress like that want attention and they seem to be putting a bad image of women across in general and i dont like it at ALL.

Salam All,
Now be remember , we always belive on moderation.Dont be so anger about men.All men arnt same.But on the other hand it is reality that staring apposite sex has becomed a common habit of men.They dont consider it as bad thing.
Media is spreading such moral values which are effecting not boys but also girls.
As i earlier said it is continous stuggle till the last breath of life.
In the end i m agree with brother Nouman
