5 pillars of islam
Salam
in our class we are learning about the 5
pillars of islam i was wondering if anyone could tell me information or any details about it , so i can explain to everyone in an easy way! |

welcome Fizz1! since when is slough a part of UNITED STATES MINOR OUTLYING ISLAND ?
the 5 pillars of Islam are...
Shahada - the testimony of faith Laa illah ha illAllah Muhammad dur rasool ullah - i testify that there is no God but Allah and that Muhammad (saw) is the messenger of Allah
Salah - praying 5 times a day
Zakaat - the giving of charity (preferably in secret so that you make SURE you're doing it in the way of Allah and not just for show!)
Sawm - FASTING, in the month of Ramadan. SAWM means SHIELD and in this case, fasting is a SHIELD against one's own desires and the whispering of satan.
Hajj - the pilgrimage. it is a duty upon every Muslim to perform hajj ATLEAST ONCE (the Prophet [saw] only performed Hajj once in his entire lifetime) IF POSSIBLE. conditions in which the Muslim does not have to perform Hajj are as follows:
1) if the person is under the conditions of war / poverty
2) if the person is sick
3) if the person cant afford it
