salams!

erm free time free time.... there seems to be less and less as the days go by! well its mainly because, like plenty of others, i waste my time and dont organise it!

my average day consists of getting home from school, lounging in front of the telly, looking for food, finding no food , and going on MSN....

i normally do my homework really late at night, so after all of this, I am left with little "free" time.

i promise myself every day to do my homework as soon as i get home, so that i really do have a few hours of FREE time every evening, rather than time spent worrying about the work that i havent done...

i havent done new years resolutions- if you have a resolution, why do you have to wait until the new year to implement it?? of course the new year is a good time to look back and think of what you want to do with your life and how you can improve it, but wouldnt it be better if we did this on a daily basis, by just sitting down, relaxing, and contemplating our worldly issues (again, XD)???

erm yes i am one of those people that wastes their time terribly, but when i do get a few free minutes (because i DID decide to do my work before 9PM), i really do enjoy talking to my family and friends about life, and thinking to myself about what i could do to avoid as much of the inefficient monotony of life as possible (for example stopping routinely spending time on MSN until late at night)....

to sort of sum up, i think it is great to stop and think every now and again to try and improve your life, and to just get out of the "rat race" so that we can be better people and better muslims, with more time on our hands to do the things that are really important.... and yes erm i also do hope to do this XD (BAD bilal)

hope all of that made sense,
wassalam,
bilal

wow i did write a lot...

if you cant be bothered to read the lot erm please please try to but if you honestly are strapped for time plz just read the last paragraph....

seeing as we are on the subject of spare time, i thought id add that while we are on MSN or watching TV etc etc er sometimes we do forget our SALAT....

ive been using this really awesome program that adjust prayer times for different cities, reads out bits of Qu'ran at prayer times and calls Adhan (called by a different person every day!)... it is really accurate and has calendars and a bunch of awesome functions...

it loads when you turn on your PC and has a little icon in the system tray (next to the clock) so you can hover over it and it tells you how long you have until the next prayer is due! it really is a brilliant program and is sooo easy to use- it even updates automatically!

download it from this website, and tell everyone how great it is!

it really has been so valuable to me!

woah lol you did write a lot but i enjoyed reading it dont worry! i can really side with you on wasting time i promise myself everyday too about how not to waste time and to study as much as possible i try to lol but it works out very rarely at times if you dont mind me asking what are you studying ? am in two minds right now of what i want to do medicine or psychology lol am so confused but the end conclusion would be me wanting to deal with mentally disadvantaged people so im not sure whether i want to go into clinical psychology or psychiatry i trried downloading that programme whats the message about the corruption of files i'm so not good with computers all the time i admit i do have my blonde moments quite alot what you going to be upto today lol am going to try and revise for my maths a-level exam i find these days i get distracted very easily the sky even distracts me lol i agree with what you say about forgetting salat but the thing with me is i know we have to read salat but time slips really quickly out of hands and before you know it i have missed one and getting ready to pray qaza namaaz inshallah this year all is going good i have read them on time so far lets hope it stays like that

take care Nadia

answer the question numra. WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU'VE GOT SPARE TIME?? yeah we're on to you. =_= we know you're up to no good...ive heard rumours, numra...that you enjoy terrorising YoungMinds moderators when you have a few extra minutes of your life to waste ...dare i say that these rumours are (shock, horror, oh nooo) TRUE??

Wassalam .xXx.
