whereever you are death will find you
slaam fresh minds you may have come across this one i love it (always gives you a reality check) and hope you will enjoy it too!!!
"WHEREVER YOU ARE, DEATH WILL FIND YOU OUT"
O Reader take a moral from here, never know your end may be near, Change your living and make amends, for Heaven, on your deeds depends.
This is the tale of an Average Man,
Who acts contrary to Allah's plan,
If you are reflected herein,
Then repent and commit no sin.
It was early in the morning at four,
When death knocked upon a bedroom door,
"Who is there?" The sleeping one cried,
"I am Izrael, Let me come inside."
At once the man began to shiver,
As one sweating in deadly fever,
He shouted to his sleeping wife,
"Don't let him take away my life."
"Please go away, O Angel of Death!
Leave me alone; I'm not ready yet,
My family depends on me,
Give me a chance, O please perpend!"
The angel knocked again and again,
"Friend! I'll take your life without a pain,
It is your soul Allah requires,
I come not with my own desire."
Bewildered, the man began to cry,
"O Angel, I'm so afraid to die,
I'll give you gold and be your slave,
Don't send me to the unlit grave."
"Let me in, O Friend!" The Angel said,
"Open the door; get up from your bed,
If you do not allow me in,
I will walk through it, like a Jinn."
The man held a gun in his right hand,
Ready to defy the Angel's stand,
"I'll point my gun, towards your head,
You dare come in; I'll shoot you dead."
By now the Angel was in the room,
Saying, "O Friend! Prepare for you doom,
Foolish man, Angels never die,
Put down your gun and do not sigh."
"Why are you afraid! Tell me O man,
To die according to Allah's plan?
Come smile at me; do not be grim,
Be Happy to return to Him."
"O Angel! I bow my head in shame,
I had no time to take Allah's name,
From morning till dusk, I made my wealth,
Never even caring for my health."
"Allah's commands, I never obeyed,
Nor five times a day, I ever prayed,
A Ramadan came and a Ramadan went,
But no time had I to repent."
"The Hajj was already fard on me,
But I would not part with my money,
All charities, I did ignore,
Taking usury more and more."
"Sometimes I sipped my favorite wine,
With flirting women I sat to dine,
O Angel! I appeal to you,
Spare my life for a year or two."
"The Laws of Qur'an I will obey,
I'll begin Salaat this very day,
My Fast and Hajj, I will complete,
And keep away from self-conceit."
"I will refrain from usury,
And give all my wealth to charity,
Wine and wenches I will detest,
Allah's oneness I will attest."
We Angels do what Allah demands,
We cannot go against His commands,
Death is ordained for everyone,
Father, mother, daughter or son."
"I'm afraid, this moment is your last,
Now be reminded, more of your past,
I do understand your fears,
But it is now too late for tears."
"You lived in this world, two score and more,
Never did you, your people adore,
Your parents, you did not obey,
Hungry beggars, you turned away."
"Your two ill-gotten, female offspring's,
In nightclubs, for livelihood they sing,
Instead of making more Muslims,
You made your children non-Muslims."
"You ignored the Muezzin's Adhaan,
Nor did you read the Holy Qur'an,
Breaking promises all your life,
Backbiting friends, and causing strife."
"From hoarded goods, great profits you made,
And your poor workers, you underpaid,
Horses and cards were your leisure,
Money-making was your pleasure."
"You ate vitamins, and grew more fat,
With the very sick, you never sat,
A pint of blood, you never gave,
Which could a little baby save."
"O Human, you have done enough wrong,
You bought good properties for a song,
When the farmers appealed to you,
You did not have mercy, this is true."
"Paradise for you? I cannot tell,
Undoubtedly you will dwell in hell,
There is no time for you to repent,
I'll take your soul for which I am sent."
The ending however, is very sad,
Eventually the man got very mad,
With a cry, he jumped out of bed,
And suddenly, he fell down dead. |

another of my favourites by the way i dont write them im just finding them for you guyss to enjoy might start writing my own though
You look at me and call me oppressed,
Simply because of the way I'm dressed,
You know me not for what's inside,
You judge the clothing I wear with pride,
My body's not for your eyes to hold,
You must speak to my mind, not my feminine mold,
I'm an individual, I'm no mans slave,
It's Allah's pleasure that I only crave,
I have a voice so I will be heard,
For in my heart I carry His word,
"O ye women, wrap close your cloak,
So you won't be bothered by ignorant folk",
Man doesn't tell me to dress this way,
It's a Law from God that I obey,
Oppressed is something I'm truly NOT,
For liberation is what I've got,
It was given to me many years ago,
With the right to prosper, the right to grow,
I can climb mountains or cross the seas,
Expand my mind in all degrees,
For God Himself gave us LIB-ER-TY,
When He sent Islam,
To You and Me! |

also, regarding the topic 'wherever you are death will find you'
this is one of the main reasons why we should always be doing good things.
can you imagine if you're doing something really bad, like... i dont know, stealing something from someone, and suddenly the angel of death comes to you at that very moment and everyone finds you, dead, and they know what you were doing just before you died.
you were stealing.
what kind of a way is that to leave the world?
and what kind of a way is that to enter the next world??
can you imagine telling Allah that the last thing you did before you died was commit a HUGE sin?
Astaghfirullah, i wouldnt want to tell my Lord that.
indulge in good, kiddies ^_^

Asalaam Alaykum sister Sahira and Sis. Bashmah,
Indeed death is inevitable yet it is a sorrowful occassion for the loved ones of the dying person. Mentioning this, I request you to please make sincere dua'as for my uncle who is suffering from liver cancer. He is in a lot of pain and probably breathing his last breath unless Allah (SWT) shows a miracle.

Asalaam Alaykum Sister Sahira,
Jazak'Allahu Khairan for your supplication and now I request you to please pray for his soul that it enters Jannah Insh'Allah as my dear uncle past away on tehe 20th of July. Certaintly to Allah (SWT) we belong and to Him is our return and of course not, your poem gave me sabr and forewoarned me that our time will come too and rather than crying, we should get ready by following the Sunnah and Quran, and may we all be able to do that, Ameen.
