By Xmas I suppose you men Christmas, the annual celebration of Christians throughout the world which was on 25th of December.
But what is Hanukkah?
Kindly enlighten me on this.

As for me, I read it to understand it and follow its teachings myself and to earn reward points from Allah as well as to teach the message to others. |

Festivals are the matter of religion and beliefs, not the matter of worldly customs, as is indicated by the hadeeth:
“Every nation has its Eid, and this is our Eid.”
Their Eid or festival reflects their corrupt beliefs of Kufr and Shirk.
