recent cyclones and earth quakes!!
help for the china earth-quake can also be sent to the above links and others in various countries. there are shocking and heart breaking images on tv , people being pulled from under the heavy slabs of angry looking giant split grounds, even the rescue worker men in tears..
just as their neighbours, we have seen a similar scale of e.quake(7.5) in pak n india in oct '05; tsunami just before that..how much we really remember of it and how much have we changed in our lives as people of belief .......
as some geography students told us on 'saving environment' stand of our 'faith anchor' event recently, many lands on the earth including Britain is forecasted to be drowned in next 50 years. nobody knows what else lies just ahead, even next day. changing weathers due to global warming and environmental pollution cannot be ignored hence human to take the responsibility himself for lots of these disasters(not sure if we can call them 'natural' anymore; however as we discussed in our local 'faith partnership' meeting day before, one cannot ignore the facts like 'signs of the Day'
