is fasting more difficult in the east? or west?
some brothers and sisters from pk and m.east telling us that we are lucky that weather is gud here and that they are suffering in heat & load shedding :(
gud to know it has rained now in pk as we prayed for u all:)
however just to remind our dear brs and srs that alhamdulillah we are thankful indeed to Allah for the blessing of the cooler weather but one must remember that this world remains a test for everyone in one or the other way.
you must count this blessing of urs that atleast where u live and work, everyone else around u is mostly fasting, praying, in the same sort of ramadan mode etc. prep. for eid later and so on.the system and people around you are cooperating as all going thru the same situation of fast. then to whichever level, there is some spirit of fast around & mutual care.
we out here miss out on that all. e.g. wen we come to work the dept is filled with the aroma of the nescafe and tea, toasts etc. sometimes cake parties, special luncheons & stuff carries on; if u make any mistake, u can easily be accused"oh yaeh. that was bound to happen because u hvn't eaten or had enough rest have u? that's not natural is it?" (people do generally gv due respect if u r fasting but they obviously do not fully understand wat to offer)
out on the streets similar sort of story.
so my dearest friends!rest assure. if u hv one sideof it difficult, u are getting some rewards too~thats how laws of Lord work~
ease with hardship as Qur'an says.innamal usre yusra~ it's not all ease and it's never all hardship either
yes we must keep asking Him to keep the tests of life easier for us; keep reciting the last section of surah baqarah رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذۡنَآ إِن نَّسِينَآ أَوۡ أَخۡطَأۡنَاۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحۡمِلۡ عَلَيۡنَآ إِصۡرً۬ا كَمَا حَمَلۡتَهُ ۥ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِنَاۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلۡنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِۦۖ وَٱعۡفُ عَنَّا وَٱغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَٱرۡحَمۡنَآۚ أَنتَ مَوۡلَٮٰنَا فَٱنصُرۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلۡڪَـٰفِرِينَ (٢٨٦)
Allah tasketh not a soul beyond its scope. For it (is only) that which it hath earned, and against it (only) that which it hath deserved. Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget, or miss the mark! Our Lord! Lay not on us such a burden as thou didst lay on those before us! Our Lord! Impose not on us that which we have not the strength to bear! Pardon us, absolve us and have mercy on us, Thou, our Protector, and give us victory over the disbelieving folk. (286) |
