surah lahab
salaam muhammad,
The blazing fire that is described in the surah,can it also been seen as a fire in which the jealousy and enmity of both of them will consume them? That as well as having excessive pride and the attributes that go with it,they lack any humility?

I am afraid that the word Fire is used literally in the surah and refers to the Fire of Hell in which Abu Lahab and his wife will burn for their sins and crimes.
