today most of the muslims consider that islam is only preaching and they themselves never do whatever they preach. so they leave their homes and family at the mercy of God. in this way the next generation they bear bring up without the supervision of their heads and are traped by different evils. This process leads to the handicaped generations. Such generations which cannot think of their own benefits how they can do researches to help the others. in addition everybody is busy in earning and looting others. In the past the contribution of the muslim scientist is due to their sincerities to mankind unlike those of today.

You are quite wrong, as there is no reality in your thinking.

Dear hkhan very thoughtful as ever. I have sought the answer 'why' all my life. Hence I was delighted to read your statement above can you please explain it little further so at least one of my life's ? can be resolved at last.
Salaam

w'assalam Dear perv 1

hmm...is there a catch now

Really 'everywhere we look- Allah shows his signs'
There are unlimited examples around us making us realize the fact that this Why and Who cannot be answered unless we believe in a super power/god as god says in His last revelation the Qura'n(A'l e Imran) that they ponder in the creation of the heavens and the earth and in the change over between the night and the day which makes them remember their Lord and they say, Lord indeed You have not created all this in vain(rabana ma khalaqta haza batila. subhanaka . fa qina azabannar) finally asking Him to save them from the torment of the Hell fire. 'cause the natural outcome of not reminding oneself of the Creator and the duties that come along after believing in Him- will be wrong concept of the life, extremely high risk of getting indulged in wrong; finally facing the wrong consequences of ignoring the Creator Who has been spreading around signs for us to 'See 'Him .
As i saw this question posted by a colleague on hospital intranet recently
'what would you do if you were invisible?'

and I could not think of a better reply than

'I would spread my signs everywhere so you all can 'See' me'

What would you do btw?

So coming to the topic e.g. looking at the sun, first our common sense and then science has told us that it provides us with heat and light and has been able to benefit the humanity with solar energy for advanced uses as well now instead of just basic needs of human and plants; it tells us How is it essential for life;is being the source of heat and light. But to know Why and Who decided to give us Life we need to turn to the Creator of the sun.
'We have created Life and Death to test which of you is the best in conduct.'surah mulk v:2

Salaam Dear hkhan

Would it not be better to make yourself visible rather than rely on signs!

I undestand you are an excellent medical doctor-so if you dont mind, I will use a medical example (please excuse if there are technical errors). An egg from the ovary is fertilised leads to pregnancy, implantation, 9months and birth. Vast majority no major problems in some catastrophic(I am only referring to this world) complications even death. I understand little bit of the mechanism but I still dont understand why this complex process i.e. why not eggs to hatch like birds, or even simply fetus pop out of mouth, arm leg etc. Even more confusing why me here on this planet utterly confused!!

Actually I wrote in reply into a forum where people come from different faiths. My intention was to remind ourselves of god and his signs around.
Why God chose to remain invisible?
again as I said for most Whys we need religion. God says this life is to test you. You and I know that the test would be useless if we saw Him. Agree?

Besides, remember what God told moses/Musa (PBUH) when he wished to see him?

hmm...are you picking on me now dear br. Not all members know though you are a specialist yourself in the field. If you allow me I shall introduce or you may do yourself

Anyways, considering the Why theory again, this Why needs religion as well because we ought to believe that no matter what scientific explanations come, although we know that per chance miscarrige rate is as high as 1 in 5(i.e. unknown cause); god just does not allow certain things to reach to perfection because this life is a test and is not meant to be perfect.
I personally take it as follows: God makes majority of embryos perfecr, leaviing some defective, to reminfd the humanity of Him and that if He wished He could make us in whatever way He wished. It is His tremendous Mercy that He protecs us from malformations.

Secondly, lots of matters/diseases happen for the trial of doctors as well I guess and to continue with their careers and jobs

If no cars were damaged, what would mechanics do
If all machines went well, engineers would go home.

I just feel that God has so much to include in his vast management which may not always be encompassed by our limited knowledge and thoughts.
