...for the cause of 'good'
Although I am quoting one verse from the last revelation Qura'n here but we ought to read the verse, rather all the verses in its former and latter context to understand and interpret it fully.
However the following verse gives us a clear idea regarding the common features of Faith which are so basic that anyone who believes that there is a God who will hold us accountable for our good and bad deeds and therefore we ought to do good deeds in life and avoid doing bad deeds- can easily understand eachothers' verdict about the way of life.
"Whether they are the ones who believe (in the Arabian Prophet, Muhammad PBUH) or whether they are Jews, Christians or Sabians -all who believe in Allah (God) and the Last Day(accountability) and do righteous deeds-their reward is surely secure with their Lord; they need have no fear, nor shall they grieve."
Chapter/Surah 2 (AlBaqarah (The Cow) ) verse: 62
There have been some doubts whether promoting communication between people belonging to different faiths but living in same areas would bring in commonalities or would highlight differences 
We feel that it gives a great opportunity to know eachother and discover amazing facts like wanting to come together in order to do something good for the benefit of humanity- this common wish and effort alone could bring our hearts together  |
