as we were in living islam camp last weekend, a lady asked br tariq ramadan (a local islamic scholar) during an after prayer brief session that why hv islamic scholars written so less about the misconceptions re: women and islam as this is exposing women to lot of abuse in islamic world by their own male relatives e.g. beating up and other such acts for which these men give reasons from Qur'an and hadith without sound base 'n knowledge.
we presented our special issue there which is written by our lead scholars of this site re: misconceptions about women in islam
