Qaari Saaheb
The award winner Hafiz-Qaari from India was in the Grand Mosque and the scholars from his part of the world who were at the Gand Mosque honoured him by offering him Immamat for Magrib.
After the Salah, the qaari felt embarassed to see some of the scholars who had prayed behind him looking at him and smiling. He asked "kya maine kutch galat padhaa"? (meaning did I make any mistakes in my recital)
Not at all. Only you did not take Yusuf out of the well.
(Poor man! He recited the verses which describe Prophet Yousuf's being thrown into the well. Had he known the meaning of what he was reciting, he would have known where to stop the recital.) |
