Dear Faeq

It's the name of Dua that is usually read in the last Rak'at oif witr. Literary qunoot means obedience.

does this clear ur mind?

Dua that is usually read in the last Rak'at of witr is the Qunoot of Witr.

There is another qunoot dua that is
pronounced loudly by the Imam in times of calamity that befalls the Muslim Ummah. This is in compliance to the practice of the Prophet (May Allah's Peace be Upon Him) and is pronounced in the last raka'ah of fardh prayers.
If the specific calamity passes, the Imam should stop performing this Qunoot in the prayers.
