Killing in the name of Patriotisim?
Salaam, My question is, does islam allow muslims to kill other muslims or anyone else for the defence of nationalisim? in other words, can nationalisim be made reason to attack and kill others? thanks. |

| from what i know, is that islam is not a religion of nationalism. nationalism leads to nazism. we muslims should have our utmost concern for the muslim ummah. our nationalities or places of birth did not bring us honor. islam brought us honor. islam does let us defend ourselves from harm but we should never start war for nationalistic purposes. why support nationalism anyway? what have we done personally that we should be proud of for being from a certain country? |
