This is so true. Women don't have to become Men to play their role. God has designed them to do wonders in their own gender and capacity, as long as they remain attached to their Creator and remember Him in all times and in all what they plan and do.Not trying to become Indian film heroins or blindly following Western or other Models who have no sense or knowledge of God and Hereafter.Or even trying to please their husbands by doing foolish acts which are against the teachings of God and His Prophets.
If they fear Allah only and keep His Will at the top of their list of friends and beloved ones. Then Allah puts blessings in all thie works, whether done within their homes and families or outside their kingdom of home.

Assalamoeleikum warahmatullah e wabarakatuhu

This is so beautifully True. Specially us women in Africa can understand this very well where we are pushed into the diseases like AIDS because of men's arrogance and not accepting to cooperate for the sake of their fellow gender.
Perhaps this is why the Prophet Mohammad SAW had to keep reminding about looking after your women well.

The world is celebrating a Day in protest against Domestic Violence (DV) ; women are the usual target(although rarely men are also found to be the victims) No religion accepts targeting man or woman for any type of harm, be it physical or mental. In UK it has been announced by the Govt thatchildren , specially girls willbe educated about DV from age 5 because this attitude can effect the future personalities from early age.

Much before, Qur'an and the Prophet's sws teachings have clearly outlined women's care and rights in every position. It's the matter of practicing.

On Being A Strong Woman

“Khadija was a great teacher; she has such a maqaam in our religion. She taught the Prophet salla’Allahu ‘alayhi wasalam who he was; she was the one who elevated him in his esteem. When he had self doubt she said no. You can see that when the Prophet salla’Allahu ‘alayhi wasalam married Aisha he had no fear of strong women. Theres a lot of men who fear strong women, who want them to be wallflowers. Whereas with the Prophet salla’Allahu ‘alayhi wasalam, that’s not the type of people he encouraged. His wives were women who talked back, and the reason he wasn’t afraid was because khadija was his first wife. She was a women of the world. She knew the world, and she was completely self confident. That’s a sunnah of our Prophet salla’Allahu ‘alayhi wasalam, to elevate women”.
