Ramadan Meals

Asalaamu alaikum,

We wish all muslims a pleasant and peaceful time during Ramadan. At this time we must particularly remember those facing hardship, whether it be from drought and starvation or those under fire and domination.

Insha Allah during this Ramadan we will be more frugal in our choices of meals. Selecting only a few simple dishes.

Often Ramadan is described in the press and news as a time of abstaining from food and drink during daylight hours and great feasting during the night. Subhanallah I hope not. Let us be frugal during this month with our money and lavish with our time spent with the Quran.

Wasalam,

Mustaffa and Family

Alhumdulillah, This Month is the name of sacrifice, Patience, and helping each other. In this mosth it is seemed that in breaking the fast a large amount is spent by the middle and upper class families and on the other hand poor and needy people can not buy expenceves food even to meet their hunger...So We all should also think about them and help them as much as we can do

Dear brothers,

Really glad to hear your opinions, Let me add - The reason for why Allah SWT make obligation of fast in this month on us, He Himself told us in the book is "LA-ALLAKUM-TATTAQOON", So that we become muttaqi not the eating machine after Iftar. And this month according to a prayer of GIBRAEEL and AMEEN by Prophet SAW, YA Allah SWT "destroy the one who found this month and could not make himself safe from Hell."
So we all should think about this and decide what we should do, pass our time of roza in preparing mouth watering Iftari or try to do as much ALDZikr as possible to get the RAHMAH of Allah SWT.

dear brothers,
ramazan month is a month of training and we should not consider that ibadah is only in this special month.the message of this special month is that we should live our lives according to the shariah and should not consider that ibadah is only in this month.no doubt this month is of special importance, but other months also demand from us that we should become muminin.

Assalaamu’alaikum,
Holy Prophet, Muhammad (peace be upon him) has advised us forever, to stop eating earlier than the complete hunger satiety.
Especially in Ramdhan, One is more greedy to eat at the time of “Sehri” as well as “Iftar”, than other days of the year. This over eating is dangerous, after a long period of complete abstinence of eating and drinking and this risk increases with the advancing age especially after 35 to 40 years. It must be remembered that these age groups are commonly affected but no age is exempted.
The overloaded stomach may cause straining of the heart leading to pain in the chest, upper abdomen, shoulders or arms specially left. These may be the symptoms of the heart attack. This condition must never be ignored and the doctor must be consulted immediately.
The incidence of perforation of the peptic ulcer is more in the spring and autumn seasons i.e. when the season is changing as now a day in the subcontinent.
We all know, “Prevention is better than cure”. Please do act upon the advice of Holy Prophet, Muhammad (peace be upon him) as it is for the health of the body as well as the faith.
May Allah help and forgive us, Aameen!
Dr. Akhlaq
