Muslim God vs Christian God

Question:
Is a Muslim's God the same God as the Christian's God? And what is meant by the term Kafir? Are christians Kafirs?
Answer:
We believe that Christians believe in the same God as Muslims do. The basic difference is that Islam views the Christian understanding of God a deviation from monotheism. Christians do not generally believe in the Prophethood of Muhammad (sws).
