Sexual Intimacy
Question asked by Hafez Ziyaad Butler.

Question:
I have recently been approached by a friend requiring some advice regarding his sexual relations with his wife. He queried certain issue regarding times, places, positions, etc that are allowable according to Islam. I haven't been able to find a lot of literature regarding the subject. It doesn't seem to be a subject that is commonly tackled by the Ulema.
In light of this I have been able to advise him re: places, times, positions and general sexual etiquette based on sahee hadiths that I have found, however I haven't been able to find any hadith relating to oral sex. For example there are sahee hadith that explicitly forbids sex during menstruation as well as anal sex, but I haven't been able to find such a
hadith to support the forbidding of oral sex.
Due to my personal opinion and consensus on the matter I advised him against it, but he is adamant that unless he is presented with a hadith to substantiate my advice he will form his own opinion. I am unsure of how to proceed and will appreciate any and all assistance you can forward me in this matter.
Jazak-Allah
